Know More

Operating in a technically complex space, DEX exists to remove friction from how data moves across systems. The brand needed to clearly communicate expertise and capability, while remaining accessible to non-technical decision-makers.®

Laying the groundwork for a scalable data automation brand

For a data automation company, clarity is everything. DEX needed a brand that could confidently represent complex technology while remaining clear, credible and easy to engage with. Our role was to define a strong strategic foundation and translate it into a visual identity that reflects precision, intelligence and trust.

This project focused on creating a brand system that works as hard as the technology behind it — one that supports growth, communicates value quickly, and feels consistent across every touchpoint as the business scales.

Problem

A complex offering lacked clear positioning.

Data automation is powerful but often difficult to explain. DEX’s challenge was not the strength of its product but how it was perceived. Without a clear brand strategy or visual identity, the business struggled to articulate its value in a way that felt confident, coherent and easy to understand.

The existing brand did not reflect the sophistication of the technology behind it. DEX needed a clear position in the market, a recognisable identity, and a system that could scale as the business grew — across digital platforms, sales materials and real-world touchpoints.

Solution

Strategy before identity.

We began with brand strategy, defining DEX’s positioning, audience and messaging to bring clarity to what the business does and why it matters. This strategic foundation informed every creative decision that followed.

From there, we developed a complete brand identity, including logo design, visual language and tone of voice. The identity was designed to feel modern, intelligent and dependable — balancing technical credibility with approachability.

To bring the brand to life, we created a range of mockups across digital and physical applications, ensuring the identity translated consistently and confidently in real-world use.

Concept

Precision, structure and confidence.

The concept behind the DEX brand centres on control and clarity. In a space often dominated by complexity, the identity focuses on structure, restraint and purpose — reflecting the role DEX plays in simplifying data and automation.

Clear typography, considered colour and a flexible system give the brand room to grow while remaining recognisable. Detailed brand guidelines were produced to ensure consistency across teams and touchpoints, giving DEX a strong foundation for future growth.

The result is a brand that clearly communicates expertise, builds trust quickly, and positions DEX as a confident partner in data automation.
