Do you need a logo design agency or a branding agency?

The first question a good logo design agency should ask is whether you need a logo at all, or a whole identity. A logo is one asset: the mark people recognise. An identity adds the colours, typefaces, imagery and guidelines that make every touchpoint look consistent.

Logo-only work suits new ventures testing an idea, or businesses whose identity works but whose mark lets it down. If you're launching properly or rebranding, our branding service is the better fit, and the logo comes as part of it.

What our logo design services include

We start with a discovery conversation and a look at the logos your customers already see. Then we sketch widely, narrow down to a few distinct routes and present each one on real applications: a website header, a social avatar, an invoice, a sign.

Once you pick a direction, we refine spacing, weight and letterforms until the mark holds up at very small and very large sizes. Every logo is drawn as vector artwork, so it stays crisp however big it gets.

The files you get, and what each one is for

Vector files are the masters. SVG, which the W3C defines as a language for describing two-dimensional graphics, suits websites and scales without blurring, while vector PDFs go to printers and signwriters.

PNG files with transparent backgrounds cover email signatures, social profiles and slides. You get each version in full colour and in black and white, plus an icon crop for favicons and app tiles, with a short guide to clear space, minimum sizes and colour values.

Trade mark searches before you launch a logo

According to GOV.UK, a UK trade mark can include logos as well as words, colours and sounds. An application can be refused if the mark simply describes what you sell, is too common to be distinctive, or is the same as or similar to another business's mark for the same goods or services.

That's why we offer trade mark searches on shortlisted routes as an extra paid-for service, checking the UK register by image as well as by keyword. If there are no issues, registration usually takes around 3 to 4 months and a trade mark lasts 10 years before it needs renewing.

How a new logo connects to everything else

A new logo usually shows up an old website. If yours is due a rebuild, we design Framer websites around the identity so the launch feels joined up, and our website redesign service handles the switch without throwing away search rankings.

On launch day, swap the logo everywhere at once: website, social profiles, email signatures, invoices and signage. List every place the old mark appears beforehand so nothing gets missed.

What to have ready

Bring your business name, a sentence on who you serve, two or three competitors and any logos you love or dislike, with a note on why. If you have an existing logo, send the best file you can find, even if it's low resolution.

It also helps to know where the logo will live most, because a shopfront, an app icon and a printed label each push the design in different directions.

How we work

©2026 the think

01 — Discover

We learn what you do, who buys from you and which competitors' logos yours will appear beside.

02 — Define

We agree a short written brief, then sketch widely before any single idea gets polished.

03 — Design

We present concept routes in context, then refine your chosen one over agreed rounds of feedback.

04 — Deliver

We test the final mark at every size and hand over organised files with simple usage notes.

Pricing & FAQ

Logo design pricing.®

Logo-only projects are quoted after a short call, based on the number of concept routes and where the logo needs to work. Full brand identity projects start from £4,000. Most logo projects take 2 to 5 weeks.

How much does logo design cost?

Logo-only projects get a fixed quote after a short call. If you need a full identity with colour, type and guidelines, brand identity projects start from £4,000.

How long does logo design take?

Typically 2 to 5 weeks, depending on the number of concept routes, feedback rounds and versions you need.

What logo files will I receive?

Vector master files, including SVG, plus PNG files with transparent backgrounds for web and social. Each comes in full colour and in black and white.

Do I need a logo or a full brand identity?

If you have a working identity and just need a better mark, a logo project is enough. If you're launching, rebranding or briefing other designers, a full identity gives them colours, type and rules to follow.

Can you check whether our logo can be trade marked?

Yes. Trade mark searches are available as an extra paid-for service: we search the UK trade marks register by keyword, phrase and image for shortlisted routes, to spot obvious clashes early. We're not lawyers, so for a formal opinion before you apply, speak to a trade mark attorney.

Who owns the logo when the project ends?

You do. Once the project is paid, the final logo is yours, and we hand over the master files so you never need us to use it.

Can you redesign my existing logo?

Yes. Sometimes a refresh that keeps the recognition you've built is right, and sometimes a fresh start is. We recommend one after seeing how your current logo is used.

Why use a logo design agency rather than a template or AI generator?

A template gives you a shape. A logo design agency gives you a mark chosen for your market, tested at every size, checked for clashes and delivered as files your printer and developer can use.
